MBA Program
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program is a 30 hour, non-thesis, business program that leads to the MBA degree. The Langdale College MBA Program is offered on-campus in the evenings.Courses in the Langdale College's MBA Program are offered on-campus over a one-year cycle, with each core MBA course offered every year. Students can start the MBA Program in any semester. Each on-campus MBA class meets one evening per week during Fall and Spring Semesters and two evenings per week during Summer Semester. Students in the on-campus program may take up to four classes each Fall and Spring Semester and two classes each Summer Semester to complete the program in one year if desired.
Langdale College's MBA Program is designed to offer graduate business education that prepares graduates for productive careers in both profit and not-for-profit organizations. The program integrates knowledge of the functional areas of business with ongoing developments in business practice. Moreover, the program stresses the importance of critical thinking skills, effective oral and written communication, appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives, and application of knowledge to solve business problems. Langdale College's MBA Program is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools o f Business.

If completed at another AACSB accredited graduate business program with a grade of "B" or better, a maximum of six semester hours of graduate credit may be counted toward the requirements for the VSU MBA Program. Students wishing to transfer credit must request and receive permission to do so from the Director of Graduate Programs in Business at time of admission. Graduate courses from programs not accredited by AACSB and courses used to complete another VSU graduate degree(except for MACC courses) cannot be counted toward the MBA degree.
