After completing the graduation, many students want to give the examination of GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) for taking admission in Master of Business Administration (MBA). But before appearing in GMAT examination, candidates must know many things about it such as what is GMAT, who is eligible for that test, what is its syllabus?

What is the GMAT?
The  Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)  is a 3½-hour computer adaptive test (CAT) designed to predict the analytical, quantitative, writing, verbal, and command over English of the candidate who are appearing for this test. The main motive of this test is to measure the intelligence of the candidate. If you are planning for taking admission in good and reputed MBA schools, scoring high marks in GMAT will you a chance to take admission of your choice B- School. The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is responsible for the administration and design of GMAT.  It must be known to students that More than 1500 Institutions and universities for 5400 programmes in 83 countries are used GMAT scores for admission.

Who is eligible for that test of GMAT?
You must be graduate t with any discipline from a recognized university.
Your age should be minimum 18

Syllabus of GMAT
The maximum score of GMAT is 800 points and the duration of test is 3 ½ hours. The entire syllabus GMAT are divided in 4 parts
Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) – In this first section, a candidate needs to write essays in 30 minutes. This essay shows the writing skills, logical argument, and knowledge of the topic of the candidate.
Integrated Reasoning (IR) – In this section, a candidate to has answered the 12 multiple-choice questions. The time limit is same 30 minutes.
Quant – In this section, candidate has to solve 37 quant multiple-choice questions. The question will be based on Problem solving and data sufficiency.
Verbal – In this section, the candidate has given 75 minutes to solve the 41 verbal questions. This questions is based on Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning and Sentence Correction
