The Spears School of Business is the business component of Oklahoma State University. The student body is made up of over 4,000 undergraduate students pursuing 18 majors and approximately 1,200 students pursuing six master’s degrees. The School also offers PhDs in business administration and in economics.since 1958, all academic programs in the Spears School of Business have been accredited by the AACSB International*. This means they meet or exceed established standards for business schools internationally. AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. The full-time MBA program in the Spears School of Business at OSU is an intense and challenging beginning to a new career. The program is constantly examining ways to give our students a competitive edge in the job market. Through case competitions at the campus, regional, and national levels, Spears MBA students compete with major universities from around the world and are recognized for their ability to analyze and present a course of action to solve complex business problems. In the process, the students reinforce the theoretical concepts, demonstrate their comprehension of the curriculum, and build confidence in their ability to be leaders in business. And just like you, they are working toward the goal of a new career.

Currently, the School is home to a growing number of research centers and institutes. The faculty, with varied academic, governmental, corporate and consulting backgrounds, bring real-world experience to the classroom. In many courses you will receive the necessary theoretical background, but you will also learn about the latest trends and developments from faculty attuned to what is going on in the real world. Real-world applications may be in the form of a lecture, company-based consulting project, a practicum or other means. The Spears School also encourages students to take advantage of the study-abroad opportunities offered by the Office of International Business programs and numerous internships.
