A place where all students can succeed, WKU is the home of the Gatton Academy for Mathematics and Science for exceptional Kentucky high school juniors and seniors.  The Academy was named the number one high school in the U.S. in 2012, 2013, and 2014 by Newsweek / The Daily Beast. WKU is proud to have Kentucky’s first independent Honors College in the Commonwealth. WKU honors students enjoy an intimate scholarly environment on a vibrant campus and are encouraged to become involved in community service, applied research and study abroad. ONLINE MBA:-
Many people, including many professionals and managers, cannot commit to a degree program where each class is 16 weeks one night a week for 2 ½ hours for as long as 2 or 3 years. If taking your courses in a time-bound and place-bound program will not fit your busy lifestyle the WKU Online MBA may be for you. The WKU Online MBA allows you to study part-time and/or full-time. Earn your degree in as little as 18 months or take up to 5 years.
The Online MBA, like all WKU MBAs, is comprised of 11 core MBA classes. Classes are 100% online. Currently 2 of these 11 include exams that are proctored. We have a service that coordinates with you to arrange a time and place for those exams.
All Online MBA classes are bi-term – about 7 weeks. They are designed using "adult learning theory" - learners focus upon one class at a time. Many students take one course per biterm (the equivalent of 2 per semester). Students who have more time on their hands can take one more course for a total of up to 3 in the 2 bi-terms that make up a semester at WKU.
In a recent exit exam used nationally our Online MBA students scored in the 10% in the nation for learning.
