Chamber Singers ECU’s Chamber Singers are the only American choir to win the International Maribor Choral Competition; they finished first in the 13th annual contest in Slovenia last year.Marquita Hall, a nurse specialist in vascular surgery, was selected by her peers as the 2015 top nurse at ECU Physicians.
Sharon Rogers Associate professor Sharon Rogers invented and secured a U.S. patent for Sportscale, a device that weighs athletes and assesses their hydration needs to help prevent dehydration.
Dr. Danielle Walsh, associate professor of surgery, received the Education and Research Foundation’s Excellence in Medical Leadership Award from the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Yamaha performance Graduate student and tuba player Zachary Grass was the only low brass instrumentalist to win the 2015 Yamaha Young Performing Artists competition.

The ECU Fact Book is an annual publication that provides a ready source of information about the University and its operations. It contains a broad spectrum of information about the past and present, and its primary purposes are to promote organizational understanding and to inform decision making. Beginning with the 2014-2015 edition, the Fact Book is available in both .pdf and online formats. ECU currently offers 76 master's degree programs, 2 intermediate programs, and 68 graduate certificate programs through our 11 colleges and schools. In addition, we offer 15 research doctoral programs, 6 first professional programs (AuD, DMD, DNP, DPT, EdD, MD) and hold the distinction of being classified among the Doctoral/Research Universities by the Carnegie Foundation.
